Philippe Villa, guitar (France): studied with Betho Davezac, José Tomas and Jiri Jirmal; Winner of the international prizes "Paganini", "Menuhin", "Pujol", "Taranto". The magazines "Fronimo", "Cahiers de la guitare", "Swiat Gitary" and "Guit'art" have put him in the spotlight. He was the first guitarist to record on the "Grobert" guitar of Berlioz – Paganini and that of Napoléon Coste at the Musée de la Villette. 

He has recorded several CDs that have won awards from the specialized press and plays abroad in "Stuttgart", Moscow", "Valencia", "Los Angeles", "Istanbul". He plays an 1835 Coffe-Goguette guitar and a "Giuseppe Guagliardo". He teaches at the Reims Conservatory and abroad: Warsaw; Royal College London; Columbia University. He founded the Ile de Ré Guitar Festival. He plays on strings "Savarez" Cantiga Premium.
